about

Rhumba from the Yamaha organ that I purchased from a nice couple in Launceston, Gleh Dhu I believe, I chose it because they still had the manuals and even the catalogues in the stool. Haven't used it much. A little bit. The lyrics were all inspired by a very loud conversation that was going on in the gallery near me, two drunk loud annoying hipster Australians trying to impress a European daughter with stories of their travels and blah blah I am probably them a lot of the time. Later she ditched the stooges and came back and watched me a bit longer, I was really grateful. I wonder if they cottoned on. You're being watched.

lyrics

Are you well travelled?
Not anymore
And I can’t stand it.
It was my time, not yours
And I can’t stand it
I can’t stand it.
Through the valleys and to the mountaintops
Not anymore
And I can’t stand it
I can’t stand it
Were you excited when you took off?
Three months, three years,
That’s what I’m thinking of
And I can’t stand it!
And make the most of opportunity
I can’t stand it
Are you well travelled?
Not anymore.
